Call For Paper (CFP) FAQ

  • Submissions should focus on the direct application or adaptation of machine learning, deep learning, data analytics, statistics, and/or data science to the field of information security.

We encourage submissions that include analytic or predictive themes.

    • View our CFP tab for more details.

  • 1) A full-length paper.

    2) An extended abstract submission. Both submission types will be considered for a talk or a poster depending on the author’s selection.

    • View our CFP tab for more details, guidelines, and required formats.

  • This year, we are not directly soliciting demos, but we are willing to consider including them as part of accepted talks or posters on an individual basis.

  • Submit via Microsoft CMT

  • No.

  • Yes, multiple submissions are permitted. However, the review process prioritizes the quality and originality of each individual submission. Authors are encouraged to focus on producing high-caliber work and discouraged from submitting a large volume of less developed manuscripts.

  • Each paper will undergo a double-blind review and will be considered for presentation as a talk or poster.

  • CFP Opens: Tuesday, April 7

    CFP Closes: Friday, June 26

    Accepted/Rejected Notifications: Friday, July 31

  • You will receive an email from Microsoft CMT by FRIDAY, JULY 31 stating whether or not your paper has been accepted or rejected.

  • Papers will be considered for proceedings, though this selection process is independent of presentation selection. To be eligible for proceedings, papers must contain sufficiently novel contributions from prior/contemporaneous published work to avoid conflicts of interest with other conferences. Manuscripts priorly published as white-papers not submitted to other conference venues, e.g., papers that were published solely on arXiv, are fine without additional material.

  • CAMLIS 2025 saw great success with CAMLIS Red submissions (a separate day of the conference focusing on red-teaming submissions). Since the proportion of submissions focusing on red teaming was quite high, this year, we are consolidating red teaming talks under a single CAMLIS conference. We will attempt to organize the program thematically, such that red-teaming talks are presented alongside other red teaming talks.

  • One speaker per accepted paper or poster will receive a complimentary ticket to the conference. If you have already purchased a conference ticket, you will be reimbursed. All other contributors will need to purchase a ticket to the conference.
